Yiquande Clubhouse is located in floors 6-7 in the West Tower of SOHO Shangdu in CBD, Beijing. In this high-rise building, the architect aimed to create some distinct interior spaces with the styles of traditional settlement-based buildings and garden landscape. Focusing on the theme of ‘nature’ in terms of spatial and artistic conception, the interior spaces are arranged in the form of villages: lodges-building, environment-nature, seats-courtyard. The artificial environment of the high-rise building and the natural environment of water landscape are perfectly combined to create favorable conditions for the independent rooms in the clubhouse. Moreover, lighting, water sprays and other elements are fully incorporated in the design.
